Who is "Kobe" the singer/rapper?

I've seen him featured on a couple of popular rapper's songs, singing
the chorus. I have no idea who he is. He doesn't have a wikipedia page
or anything.

Is it Kobe Bryant the basketball player? I really have no idea.
